Astarte is intended to become a general object oriented development and user environment specifically aimed for scientific applications. Many scientific projects require complex software. Usually software developed for a certain research project cannot easily be applied or used by other projects. An expandable and adaptable environment especially designed for scientific applications, which provides a general basis to exchange and reuse scientific algorithms, could improve this situation. The general approach to the system should also make it suitable as a user environment.

LEAP is a project to port to Linux those applications that the astronauts use on their laptops, so that each astronaut has a choice of operating systems. We know that several of the astronauts already use Linux at home, and would appreciate being able to use it "at work" too.

A TeX distribution.

Odin is a numerical computation library. It is part of the astarte framework.

DVDbackup is a collection of scripts to backup data on writable DVDs and similar medias.

DragonForge is a web site content management system.

CFTeX is a collection of TeX/LaTeX style files and classes for various research, presentation and teaching purposes.
