The regularity feature tree decomposition for the ISO14649 part is shown below. On the first decomposition level 29 edge-connected solids are produced, seven of which are shown in (a) and (d). Sub-part (a) leads to nine negative regularity features at the next level in the tree as shown in (b). These further yield one regularity feature as shown in (c). The five sub-parts in (d) together lead to another 20 negative regularity features at the next level in the tree as shown in (e), and results in the five updated models shown in (f). The simple edge-connected solids which where not further decomposed are shown in (j).
