I am interested in the development of algorithms for parallel hardware such as multi-core / multi-processor systems and graphics processors. Asynchronous algorithms are an interesting approach to avoiding locks without necessarily a full lock-free algorithm.
I have also been working on an algorithms for simplifying or beautifying symbolic expressions automatically based on a set of rules, yielding PIDS.
