WIVC Jobs
A new Wales Institute for Visual Computing, funded by the Welsh Assembly Government, is being created, shared between various Universities in Wales. It encompasses a collection of research expertise and activities in visualization, computer vision, image/video processing, computer graphics and virtual environments. The Institute is seeking 16 excellent research officers to carry out collaborative research. All positions are for three years. Each post-holder will be based at one of the four partner universities, and expected to travel regularly to collaborate with the relevant research groups at the other sites. For details please see http://www.wivc.org.uk/jobs.html.
The particular sub-programme of the institute that I am involved in is associated with a post in point-based modelling, especially related to physics simulations: ref 2009/0084.
