Welsh Institute of Visual Computing

"The Minister for Children, Education, Lifelong learning and Skills has agreed the release of up to £5.001 million over 5 financial years 2008-09 to 2012-2013 (over 5 academic years), and the release of up to £20,000 in the financial year 2012-13 to undertake the independent post project evaluation of the Wales Institute of Visual Computing."

Details on the funding decision are available from the Welsh Assembly Government. F. C. Langbein will especially work on the sub-programme for the interface with the sciences with F. Labrosse, Aberystwyth University; focused on point-based modelling and visualisation and simulation of quantum systems.
